Build Your Audience
Create subscriber lists, add contacts, and grow your mailing list with the public subscribe page
Overview
Before you can send emails, you need an audience. SentinMail organizes subscribers into lists — groups of contacts you can target with campaigns. A subscriber can belong to multiple lists.
Create a Subscriber List
Go to Lists
Navigate to Audience → Lists in the sidebar.
Create a new list
Click Create List and enter:
- Name — e.g., "Weekly Newsletter", "Product Updates", "Beta Testers"
- Description — optional, helps your team understand the list's purpose
- Color — pick a color to visually distinguish this list
Start adding subscribers

- Email (required)
- First name and Last name (optional)
- Lists — select which lists to add them to
- Extra fields — custom key-value data (e.g.,
company: "Acme",plan: "Pro") that you can use as template variables

For adding many subscribers at once, go to Audience → Subscribers and click Bulk Import. You have three options:
After importing, you'll see a result summary showing how many were created and any errors (e.g., invalid emails, duplicates).

- Update Lists — add or remove them from lists
- Delete — permanently remove selected subscribers
Grow Your List with the Subscribe Page
Every company gets a free hosted subscribe page where anyone can sign up:

Watch subscribers arrive
When visitors sign up, they appear in your Subscribers list automatically.
The subscribe page collects:
- Email (required)
- First name and Last name (optional)
Segments (Paid Plans)
Segments are dynamic subscriber groups based on rules. Unlike static lists, segments automatically include subscribers who match the criteria.
Go to Audience → Segments to create rules like:
- Subscribers who opened an email in the last 30 days
- Subscribers with a specific custom field value
- Subscribers added after a certain date
Segments update automatically — as subscriber data changes, they move in and out of segments.
Suppressions (Paid Plans)
The suppression list contains email addresses that will never receive emails from your company. Addresses are added here when:
- A subscriber clicks the unsubscribe link in an email
- You manually suppress an address
- A hard bounce is recorded
Go to Audience → Suppressions to view and manage suppressed addresses. You can also manually add addresses (e.g., from an external opt-out list).
